Module Objective

The Current Warehouse UsageCosting module servesis used to record all costs related to warehouse operations. These costs can later be allocated as a real-time inquiry tool for viewing the current conditionpart of aFactory storageOverhead location.or other operational costs. This module allowshelps usersin totracking checkand managing expenditures that occur specifically in the list of items along with their quantities that are in a specific warehouse or bin, as well as to see metrics on the utilization of that warehouse's capacity.area.

1. Main View (Warehouse Selection)Cost List)

The firstmain page of this module displays a hierarchical structurelist of all thewarehouse storagecost locationsrecording youdocuments have.that have been created.

View Explanation

  • View: This page displaysis a listhistory of mainwarehouse warehouses,cost sub-warehousesdocuments. (SUBWH),You orcan subcontractor-ownedsee locationsthe (SUBCON)Warehouse Cost Number, Date, Amount, and Approval Status.

  • HowFilters: You can search for a specific document by Warehouse Cost Number or a Date range.

Button Functions

  • [New]: The primary button to Use:create Clicka on the name of the specificnew warehouse orcost locationrecording whose contents you want to see.document.

2. DetailSteps Viewto (StockRecord ListWarehouse by Location)Costs

From the locations,Main View, click the system[New] willbutton displayto aopen detailthe pageAdd containingNew a list of all goods in that location.form.

CapacityStep Information2: Fill in Cost Details

AtOn the topform ofthat appears, you will be asked to detail the page,costs:

  1. Fill in the document Date.

  2. Fixed Costs: In this table, add cost components that are fixed each period (e.g., warehouse rent, warehouse staff salaries).

  3. Variable Costs: In this table, add cost components that are variable (e.g., electricity cost, water cost, forklift repair cost).

  4. For each component, you canwill seeselect the warehousecost capacitytype, usageperiod, metrics,amount, including:and description.

Step 3: Confirm

After all cost components are entered, click the [Confirm] button to submit the cost recording document for approval.

Workflow & Integrated Business Process

  • MaximumAccounting CapacityImpact: TheAfter totalthis storagedocument spaceis capacity.approved, the system will create a journal entry to record these costs (for example, a Debit to Warehouse Rent Expense and a Credit to Cash/Bank or Accrued Payable).

  • Current UsageApproval: TheA spacedocument that has already been usedconfirmed will most likely go to an Inbox to be validated by thea existingFinance goods.Manager or Controller.

Stock List

The table below displays a complete list of all items currently in that location along with their physical quantity (Qty).
