Modul **Pengaturan Perkiraan Penjualan** adalah fitur konfigurasi sederhana namun fundamental yang bertujuan untuk menetapkan *default* periode waktu (*time bucket*) yang akan digunakan oleh sistem dalam menampilkan dan mengelola data perkiraan penjualan (*sales forecast*). Pengaturan ini menentukan tingkat granularitas waktu (harian, bulanan, atau tahunan) untuk seluruh modul yang berkaitan dengan *forecasting*.

- #### Pemilihan periode ini adalah keputusan strategis. Pilihlah periode yang paling sesuai dengan siklus bisnis, karakteristik permintaan pasar, dan horison perencanaan perusahaan Anda.
- #### Mengubah pengaturan ini di tengah periode perencanaan yang sedang berjalan dapat menyebabkan kebingungan dan memerlukan penyesuaian ulang data *forecast* yang sudah ada. Lakukan perubahan dengan hati-hati dan informasikan kepada semua pihak terkait (tim Penjualan, PPIC).
- #### Akses ke modul ini sebaiknya sangat dibatasi, idealnya hanya untuk *System Administrator* atau Manajer PPIC, karena dampaknya yang luas ke seluruh siklus perencanaan.
